The point of Public Education is to serve kids - not special interests. Parents need a seat at the table to advocate for the interests of students. Our group spans many races, backgrounds, and political views yet we all have the bond of wanting the best for our children. Teacher Unions should not have more rights than the students they are supposed to educate. No more closed door meetings.  No more taxation without representation. The time has come to translate “kids first” from a soundbite into a civil right.

Never again will parents tolerate being on the outside looking in as special interests make unilateral decrees that impact the future of our children.
